J. R. Avery & Associates was founded in June 1998 by James Avery. Prior to starting the company, Mr. Avery held numerous leadership positions in the communication and information technology industries with a history of successful assignments involving the use of leading edge technology in support of key business strategies. He has a broad range of experience spanning strategy development, tactical planning, project management, technology deployment, application development and testing, and data center operations and management.

J. R. Avery & Associates operates as a virtual company with personnel in multiple locations. Personnel are assigned to a project as needed and released when their work is complete with the composition of the team dictated by the needs of the engagement. This operating structure facilitates flexible staffing and allows us to offer our clients the right mix of talent at competitive rates. While an engagement team may be geographically dispersed, all engagements are managed and administered out of our Richmond, Michigan office. |

When required, secure client access can be provided to an HTML based collaboration server. UserID/password protected accounts are established on the server at the start of the engagement for all project and key client personnel. The collaboration server allows us to publish and share documentation. Cell phone, voice mail, facsimile, and e-mail are integrated into our support technology.
